NEXT RETREAT STARTS APRIL 27TH, 2026

The Solo-ish Retreat

A 5-Day Travel Experience for Women

April 27th-May 2nd, 2026 | Lisbon, Portugal

TRAVEL SOLO NOT ALONE...

For the woman who's always making space for others - it's time for an adventure that's just for you.

Part Group Retreat, Part Solo Adventure, Fully Yours

Imagine hopping on a plane bound for one of Europe's most gorgeous cities. ✨You touchdown and head to your sun-drenched room overlooking the cobblestone streets of Lisbon.

And, for the first time in a long time there's no one to please but yourself. No one’s preferences to tiptoe around. Just you, your intuition, and a city that's built for wandering.

This isn’t your typical wellness retreat. (No endless downward dogs or green juice cleanses.)

This is a week designed for women who are ready to try something a little braver. Women who are craving an adventure, and are willing to put themselves first for a bit, even if it feels wildly unfamiliar.

Sound like you?

WHEN? APRIL 27-MAY 2, 2026

WHERE? LISBON, PORTUGAL

Here's What To Expect:

A BLEND OF SOLO ADVENTURES + A SUPPORTIVE COMMUNITY

A pastel de nata in Lisbon.

Solo Quests: Each day, you’ll get a prompt - a gentle dare to try something new. Turn your phone off and get lost in the city. Order the pastry you actually want, not the one you think you “should” have. Journal about what comes up. Then, we’ll come back together and talk about it.

Group Workshops: We will host four premium workshops, each with the intention of letting go. Think: a dance workshop in the park and laughing with women who see the fun in trying something new (even if we're all hilariously bad at it.) These experiences are about diving into creativity, confidence, and the kind of fun you probably haven't let yourself have in a while.

Curiosity Sessions: We'll have sessions on topics like astrocartography, human design, love languages, and designing your life with intention. The goal is to play with new perspectives and get curious about what makes you you.

Group Dinners: We’ll gather in some of my favorite cozy spots in Lisbon for honest conversations that go beyond small talk. You’ll leave with a full heart, a few new favorite Portuguese dishes, and the kind of confidence that sticks with you long after Lisbon.

MEET YOUR GUIDE

I´m Leah, and I've been traveling the world full-time since 2018...

You read that right - 7 years! I travel with a single carry-on bag, and have now lived in 30+ countries around the world.

But, I wasn't always a world traveler. I was once a woman who worked a 9-5 job I hated, and cared way too much about what (I thought) people expected of me.

But, in 2017, my dad passed away from ALS (far too young,) and it shifted something in me. Life was too short to live a life I didn't love.

So, I got a divorce, left my job, sold my house in Austin, along with nearly everything I owned, and booked a one-way ticket to London by myself. I didn’t know what I’d find, but I knew I needed to do something that was just for me - no one else.

I loved solo travel SO much, that I kept going - from the medinas of Morocco to the ashrams of India, I've seen and experienced places that I used to just dream about.

And, in the process, reminded myself of just how strong, capable and brave I really am.

Solo travel changed my world. It healed me, challenged me, and helped me see the very best version of myself - one adventure at a time.

Now, I want to share that gift with you.

Leah

What exactly does "solo-ish" mean?

Good question.

This isn’t a "go off the grid by yourself" experience, and it's not a jam-packed tour either.

This is a small group retreat with 12 women max.

You’ll have your own time to wander, but you’ll also have a built-in crew to have dinners, reflect with, and grow alongside.

It's solo-ish by design.

Space to be you. But, with your own personal cheering section, there to remind you that you're braver than you know.

Travel solo, not alone.

Where you'll stay...

A gorgeous boutique hotel in my favorite part of Lisbon.

Part of the solo-ish experience is having a space that's just for you. You’ll have your own room in a boutique hotel tucked away in one of Lisbon's most charming neighborhoods.

(Or, if you'd prefer to choose your own apartment, you'll have that option too.)

For women who crave both connection and independence, this is the best of both worlds: community when you want it, space when you need it.

This experience is for you if...

You haven't traveled solo abroad much (or ever.) But the idea makes you super excited, and a little bit nervous.

You're independent, but community-minded. You love connecting with like-minded women, but you also value your own downtime and space.

You want to try new things and see new places, but you also want an experienced traveler to help you sort through the logistics of it all. (That's me. 😊)

You want a retreat that’s more than meditation. You want an adventure - to step outside of your usual routine.

You have people-pleasing tendencies. I find that solo travel is especially impactful for women who tend to make choices based off of what everyone else wants. This is your chance to get clear on exactly what it is that YOU want.

Bonus Points: If you're the eldest daughter. 😄 (Because, if you're anything like me - you're a perfectionist who needs a gentle reminder to let go sometimes.)

Our Destination:

Why Lisbon?

I've been all over the world, but Lisbon calls me back over and over again - sunny, soulful and impossibly charming.

Cobblestone streets, bright yellow buildings, coffee shops you'll want to linger in all day, and sunsets that make the whole city stop and watch.

It’s my favorite place in the world. And I can’t wait to play the part of your local best friend, showing you all the secret corners and hidden gems.

Every inch is a postcard, but it’s for me, it's more than just a pretty city - it’s one of the first places I came on my solo journey. It’s where I learned how good it feels to choose yourself.

Lisbon feels like home in all the best ways. And, I can't wait for you to fall in love with it too.

Who this retreat is NOT for:

THIS MIGHT NOT BE FOR YOU IF...

You prefer familiar environments and need constant company

If you find alone time challenging and want a retreat that’s all group, all the time, this isn't for you. The goal is to step outside of your comfort zone by being solo-ish in an unfamiliar place.

You're looking for a 'party' vacation

We'll certainly enjoy all that Lisbon has to offer (including the occasional glass of vinho verde if you choose.) But, if you're looking for bachelorette party/spring break vibes, this is not it.

You avoid anything that's too "out there"

You don't have to be a crystal-carrying mystic, but if you roll your eyes at the idea of energy healing, astrology, or anything a little bit magical, this probably isn't the group for you.

If you have serious limitations with city walking - especially uphill

The hills in Lisbon are no joke. This certainly isn't a fitness retreat, but we will be doing a lot of walking up and down uneven cobblestone streets. If that doesn't sound feasible, this particular retreat isn't for you. (But, I promise, we'll have more accessible options in the future!)

Post-Retreat

What happens after the retreat?

The retreat itself is 5 nights, but I HIGHLY recommend adding at least a day or two on the back end - just for you.

Stay in Lisbon, or set off on a mini-adventure of your own. I've traveled Portugal (and most of Europe) extensively, so if you need tips for where to go next, just ask.

After the retreat, we'll all stay connected via a group chat. And, will have a Zoom call one month after the retreat to catch-up.

Want to know

the scariest part of taking a solo trip?

Giving yourself the permission to do it.

I've traveled solo across 30+ countries, and the hardest part of it all was allowing myself to go in the first place. (Honestly!)

This is your invitation to choose yourself - just once. You don’t need to justify wanting more space, more adventure, or just a little more "you time."

Ready to spend some quality time with the most important person in your life?

HINT - IT'S YOU.
